What we know
GRB South is the 700,000-square-foot first phase of Houston's Convention District Transformation Project, with a 100,000-square-foot pedestrian plaza connecting the center to Toyota Center. Houston First confirmed financing of approximately $1.38 billion in bonds on April 1, 2026. The expansion is under construction with a 2028 target, not yet complete.
