What we know
An 18-to-20-story condominium and ground-floor restaurant tower was proposed for 1209 Montrose Boulevard, replacing the Khun Kay Thai site. The Houston Planning Commission rejected a requested setback variance in March 2025; the developer may redesign or resubmit, and no construction start is confirmed. The proposal should NOT be displayed as active construction.
